wedding sets

June is just around the corner, and many brides are looking forward to their nearing wedding ceremony. When looking for wedding sets, there are several options available for today's bride. Here are a few that I have found from researching for friends:

Wedding sets come in various metals, including white gold, yellow gold, and platinum. White gold is usually one of the cheaper options, while platinum is the most expensive. Some wedding sets are available with diamonds in the bands. Be sure that if you choose one of these that the diamonds in the wedding bands don't overpower the diamond in the engagment ring. Wedding sets can be simple, plain, classic bands, or they can have beautiful engravings in them. Some are rounded. Some are flat.

When purchasing our wedding sets, my husband wanted to give me only the best. He chose a platinum engagement ring that has yellow gold accents on both sides of my marquise-cut diamond. These yellow gold accents also have diamond chips in them. When picking out our wedding sets, we were required to buy a platinum band for me, because the platinum from my engagement ring would wear away a white gold band. Fortunately, we could get my groom the white gold band, saving some money in the end.
